Refund Policy

At Nerd Friendly, we want you to be thrilled with your purchase, whether you’re shopping online, attending a class, or playing in one of our in-store events. If something isn’t right, we’ll do our best to make it right.
This Refund Policy explains how we handle returns, refunds, and exchanges for both online and in-store purchases.
1. Returns for Physical Products
We accept returns on most new, unopened items within 30 days of purchase for a refund or store credit.
To be eligible for a return, items must be:

Unused and in their original packaging

In the same condition you received them

Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase
Non-returnable items include:

Gift cards

Downloadable or digital products

Clearance or final sale items

Opened paints, brushes, or art supplies (for hygiene and safety reasons)
2. Refunds for Online Orders
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email. If approved, your refund will be processed to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Please note:

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (for example, a wrong or damaged item).

If you received a refund, the cost of return shipping may be deducted from your refund unless the return was due to a mistake on our part.
3. How to Start a Return
To request a return, please contact us at nerdfriendlyart@gmail.com with your order number, item details, and reason for return.
Once approved, we’ll provide instructions for returning your item by mail or dropping it off in person at our D’Iberville store.
4. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please let us know within 7 days of delivery by emailing nerdfriendlyart@gmail.com with photos of the item and packaging.
We’ll arrange a replacement, exchange, or refund at no additional cost to you.
5. Event, Class, and Tournament Refunds
We understand that plans change!

Cancellations made 48 hours or more before an event, tournament, or class will receive a full refund or store credit.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the event are non-refundable, but you may transfer your spot to another participant if available.

If Nerd Friendly cancels a class or event, you will receive a full refund or credit toward a future session.
3. How to Start a Return
To request a return, please contact us at nerdfriendlyart@gmail.com with your order number, item details, and reason for return.
Once approved, we’ll provide instructions for returning your item by mail or dropping it off in person at our D’Iberville store.
6. In-Store Returns
Online purchases can also be returned in-store with proof of purchase.
Please bring your confirmation email, order number, or receipt to help us locate your purchase quickly.
7. Exchanges
We’re happy to exchange items of equal or lesser value, depending on product availability.
If the item you want is no longer available, we’ll issue a store credit instead.
8. Exceptions and Limitations
Nerd Friendly reserves the right to:

Deny a return or exchange that does not meet the conditions of this policy

Refuse returns showing signs of wear, damage, or alteration

Limit returns or exchanges if we suspect misuse of the policy
